The first — phone case

aaby’s first product is a graphic case that highlights the synergy created by complementary color relationships. These relationships are explored through bold shapes, typographic details andtheir layout. To represent these subtle tonalities, each value is carefully silkscreened to achieve color accuracy and endurance. As the surface is silkscreened inside out — a rare instance in case design — the phone is resonated and protected in a more solid and seamless manner.

Beginning

Back in 2015, when Yeongkyu Yoo and Andrew Kim were working together at Microsoft, they often talked of products they wished existed. For instance, something as simple as a phone case. One that not only offers protection, but nuanced colorways and design — an everyday object with a strong design core. With these founding values, they developed a new brand identity, as well its first product — the aaby case.
