Deception is an internal project which accidentally emerged when a miscommunication of the original concept ended up spawning a better idea. What was supposed to be a 'let's do lots of similar things in different apps' somehow became 'let's create a series of mind bending visual loops'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Searching Penrose triangles online then began throwing up other 'impossible' shapes and slowly, as we became captivated and confused by various shapes and forms, we were hypnotised into turning this idea into some actual moving image. 

We focussed on producing a small series of short animations which could exist both as part of a longer edit and in isolation as smaller, bite sized loops of confusion. The ideas themselves revolve around provoking a disparity between what your eyes are seeing and what your brain thinks should be happening. It can be quite unsettling...sorry!
