御前侍卫 Imperial Guard - small night lamp
“御前侍卫”是一款以宫廷侍卫所戴凉帽为灵感而设计的小夜灯。帽子的不同戴法能向观者传达开心、平静，或是困倦的不同情绪，该设计将帽子的情绪语义与小夜灯的交互方式做了融合，用户可以通过拨弄帽子来实现灯光的明暗调节；给人直观、情趣化的使用体验。我们希望借用“御前侍卫”的语义，当用户使用小夜灯时，能感受到一份安全感与陪伴感。
Imperial Guard is a small night lamp, it takes inspiration from court guard’s summer hat in ancient China. Different ways of “wearing” the hat can convey different emotions to viewers, for example, happiness, calmness or sleepiness. The design interactively integrates the emotional semantics of the hat with the night lamp. Users can adjust the brightness by fiddling with the hat, enjoying an intuitive and interesting experience. By using the semantic meaning of “imperial guard”, we hope users can feel a sense of security and companionship when using our little night lamp.
