The underground lines are matched to the main colours of the football clubs in London. And the locations of the different coloured routes on the map also fully reference the club's sphere of influence in London.
London's main underground lines form a colourful football pitch, with the redesigned logo cleverly placed in the centre of the pitch, highlighting the topic of the work.
It's a visual practice I did when I first came to London for the Pre-sessional course. We were asked to create a "London project" based on our first impressions and feelings of London for two months and to provide feedback and communication in our own visual language. As it was just the time of the World Cup, the streets of London are bursting with football culture. In addition, London underground and its excellent information visual design also impressed me a lot. So I combined visual elements of both areas and complete these two graphics to communicate my impression of London in a playful and interesting way.
