The visualization shows the world countries with the lowest level of democracy, according to Polity IV score "which goes from −10 (full autocracy) to 10 (full democracy)" (ourworldindata.org). The countries with score below zero are analyzed: for each one, the increasing number of ramifications shows the increasing level of authoritarianism.
