D&AD Student Awards 2012

The brief for this project was to create a supplement for the Typographic Circle. The supplement had to feature some of the visiting speakers and we chose to focus on Morag Meyerscough, Harry Pearce and Jonathan Barnbrook. Three books were created and each one reflects how we persieve each designers personality from either meeting them, attending lectures or reading interviews with the designers and looking at their work.

The outside cover functions like a book jacket and features the desiners' name lazer cut. It also has an abstract pattern to tie in with the Typographic Circle brand and to incorporate a graphic system which tie the books together. The inside coloured cover has a graphic pattern made from the negative spaces in the designers name and represents the designers mark on the publication.

We also created one off collectable posters as an extra feature.
