In 2011 after traveling for two nights in a train, I board a bus from the capital city Delhi. Along with me are fellow students and their families, some of us who are visiting the northern part of the country for the first time. Excited us, begin our journey towards the place where we will spend the next four years of our life. A college we have joined, but yet to see.

The journey felt like its never gonna end with the landscapes gradually changing from that of a capital city to a countryside; left us all looking at each other questioning our choices. As we slip away from our time checks, our wishes of reaching soon sends us all into a collective silence as we enter a campus; praying in our minds, this better not be it!

Well, it turned out to be an eventful and exciting four years of my life, living in and learning from the campus situated off the suburban town Dadri, in Uttar Pradesh. These photographs are made during one of my many visits to the vivid, notorious town in my four years of stay there.
