We have chosen not to have anything to do with conventional oenology which is often based on the manipulation of wine and the use of additives and adjuvants. We know what we are talking about, that’s why we do our utmost to avoid them: for us a winery is not a laboratory and the wine is not the result of a chemical formula. At Tenuta Mara the grape harvest is carried out manually, the winemaking is natural and the fermentation does not foresee the addition of yeasts. The grape skins are not crushed and the wine is not filtered in order to guarantee the aromatic integrity.
So in a bottle of MARAMIA you will find only wine, biodynamic red wine from 100% Sangiovese grapes.
