The Golden Book of California takes the pre-existing text from the 60's version of the book and is redesigned into a current perspective that showcases the good, bad, and forgotten moments in California's history. As the book moves through history, more text fills the page–representing the increase of population through colonization. Multiple languages are also included to show the diverse cultural shifts and integration that California has gone through since the Spaniards first landed.
