Nutcase Packaging

Nutcase is a fictional company which produces and sells a variety of nuts. For this project, we were told to find a bottle in a local store. The bottle I found was Marzetti's "Simply Dressed" salad dressings. After we decided on a bottle, we were told to put a completely different product inside of it and to redesign the packaging based on the new product. I decided to use shelled pistachios, pecan halves, and blanched almonds. I chose these specific nuts because the shape of the clear bottles and the nuts created a very interesting combination. We were only required to create labeling for a single bottle but I decided to create labeling for all three, as well as the packaging that accompanied it.

For the packaging, I ripped apart cardboard boxes, stacked them on top of each other, and cut out the shapes of the bottles. Placing the bottles in the packaging in different directions adds to the "nutcase" theme.

This is the end result.
