Three vertical forests in the heart of "Il Bosco", the new administrative capital of Egypt

The three vertical forests of "Il Bosco" are designed as an easy to replicate and easy to adapt prototype for the Egyptian capital. These 30m tall buildings will house over 350 trees, 14.000 shrubs and perennials picked among 100 different local species, with a grand total of over 3.600 sqm of green surfaces.Furthermore, the buildings are designed to be energy self-sufficient, will absorb around 7 tonnes of CO2 per year and emit 8 tonnes of O2.
