Jerry's house
Kraków, Poland

The apartment was designed for a young Polish businessman.
The total area is 176 sq. m. The client initially purchased and combined two neighboring apartments into one to meet all his requirements.

We were faced the challenge to create one undivided area with minimal partition walls in it to allow the rooms flow smoothly into one another.
The large windows all around the apartment`s perimeter is the first thing you pay attention to. They let a lot of natural light into the room and give the fresh feel due to the green space around the entire apartment building. Also, the windows are provided with shutters which harmoniously replace the curtains and functionally protect from sunlight. Closed shutters blend with the warm beige-plaster walls.
The paintings from the streets of Kyiv were integrated on the walls in order to add uniqueness to the space. The symbol itself was created from the artist’s tag which underlies the word oks.
Tag “oks” - is short for “oxygen”. Stylized faces have a slightly aggressive character in relation to environmental pollution, which stresses the owner’s worldview.
The living area is convenient and comfortable. It is designed in such a way as to help to relax after a hard working day.
Since the owner rarely cooks, we decided to make the kitchen as hidden as possible. The dining area is designed for a small company. In the future, it may also be suitable for a large family.
The bedroom and the bathroom create one harmonious space, which is combined with the walk-in closet and is hidden from prying eyes.
Here, along the windows, a glass work table is placed. It symbolizes lightness and ease of work, which corresponds to the client’s nature.
The unusual combination of Belgian aesthetics and elements of street drawings had hit the client`s taste.
The interior turned out to be warm and serene.
