The design of office furniture has solved several problems related with  space optimization, distribution and co-working areas inside of a company. However, this Trent has created new challenges of privacy, customization, productivity and empowerment of the work space.

In order to increase the innovation in the design of office furniture, this project has developed 4 market researches to 200 workers in different companies, with the objective of determinate the way how environment affect the productivity and well-being of the workers during a normal day and how the design of office furniture could mitigate those problems.

Throughout the project, there has been discovered that some physic factors such as a illumination, temperature, noise, interruptions, distribution of stuff inside a room, and the stay of a worker in his office, could reduce the productivity and drag out the dynamics of the workers.

With the propose of design environments that fit to the needs of employees in a company, this project is looking for identify the insights of the people that cohabit in an office and finally develop furniture and space solutions, though the measurement of the mentioned physic variables, with the use of electronic sensors, putted inside office stuff which is delivered by the company as a present.

At the end of the measure time, the designers will have more information to create solutions and solve problems related with specific tasks. That means that the benefits are for the employee who receive objects that helps in the daily work and finally a new furniture for him. To the employer who will increase the productivity of his company and finally Carvajal Espacios,  who will have a design tool and increase the market distinction and innovation on the office environment design.
