To re-signify a space. That’s the samambaia’s idea.

So here’s the story:

I was looking for a place to live where I could also have enough space  for my ideas.
One day I was walking when I saw this amazing house on the top of a building.

Though my idea was not to live in a fancy place and pay more for rent; I really didn’t want to have higher bills. Yet I do believe that we can occupy spaces in a sustainable way, by sharing them with awesome people.

So Samambaia was not only my house, but also where I promoted cultural events, talks, dinners, movie sessions – always with the idea to connect people and build a community in the city center.

Samambaia was a house, a restaurant, a hotel, a theater – a place for photo shoots or work meetings. The house of anyone who needed a cozy, colorful and inspiring spot in the middle of the city. A good example of the creative and collaborative culture.
