Inspiration & Intorduction
When I was senior in National Chengchi University(NCCU), my classmates and I started to engage in the graduation project. In the process of brainstorming, we found that people are used to exerting hearing and visual to recall or memorize, and it is quite easy for us to describe sounds or shapes via these two senses. On the other side, we seldom use our nose, the sense of smell, which can be highly sensitive, as a tool of description. Therefore, we decided to hold an exhibition of this topic.

The bookmarks design were inspired by fortune slip. Since our graduation show was held at Bopiliao Historic Block, where is close to Longshan temple. They respectively represent "fortune", "academy", and "relationship".
Exhibition Display
The Graduation Show was held on 25th-30th May 2018 at Bopiliao Historic Block. The exhibition hall was arranged with the restroom as the theme. What we'd like to convey was about expressing individual feelings and emotions through smelling. In our daily life we can hardly possess our own space, where we truly have privacy. At school, there are countless social activities and group reports. At work, communication and teamwork are unavoidable. Even at home, we might share a room with roommates or siblings. It seems that there is not a place like restroom giving us complete privacy. As a result, we combined all the concepts - using the sense of smell to experience and express your feelings in your own private field.
