absence and loneliness
Photos was shot during the Itinerant Master's Degree Program in Architecture and museum design for archaeology. Strategic design and innovative management for archaeological heritage. Visiting the Pompeii site was mandatory, so I try to catch the aura of the complex. Pompeii seems still to suffer the weight of its end: you can feel the absence, rather than the remaining architecture standing, stressed by the alternation of marble, bricks, opus incertum and the cloudy sky.
