Walmart App Communications
I was responsible for writing the app descriptions that appear in iTunes (for Walmart's iPhone & iPad apps) and Google Play (for Walmart's Android app). I also wrote the release notes each time a new app version is released. Below are screen grabs of the app description and release notes for some recent iPhone releases.
To craft release notes, I typically worked with a product manager to learn the key features of the release. Together, we decided which updates are important to users and why. Then I drafted concise bullet points that clearly explain the updates. All copy is crafted to align with Walmart brand voice and copy style.
