The Brand Style Guide for "SailorturntGamer"
A Sailor's Tale
SailorturntGamer is a personal brand of mines that is used to create educational material for a variety of video games. I spent 7 years in the United States Navy sailing around the globe using video games to build bridges that I never thought I would have been able to and so I developed and created this brand in order to continue to build bridges. SailorturntGamer has been established since 2018 and every year our goal is to push towards new and creative innovative ideas an so if you believe in our vision and you want to assist to push us in the right direction by using our Brand and Logo in creative new ways to extend our reach then Join the Fleet!
Inspiration
The Cover as well as the Borders of the inside spreads were inspired from this gorgeous Computer Wallpaper. We have Dave, his mascot, which I used in combination with the smokey background effects(Procreate). The Purple and Blue Shards were the foundational elements that allowed the entire piece to come together and the image located in the top right is something that utilized as well, so be sure to stay to the end to view our amazing Back Cover of the Style Guide. Color Palette and A few Brand Logo's
This project has been a huge learning experience. Each page was constructed with love and care. The physical dimensions of the book is slated at 8 inches by 8 inches and the things cover in the style guide can be found in the Table of Contents. I wanted to allow a clear understanding of what makes the brand special and create a tool that can be used to allow others to treat the brand properly by respecting the Color Palette and usage of Logos, Clear Space, and every rule that pertains to maintaining the brand integrity.
