What is the Portal Comunitário?

Portal Comunitário (or Community Portal) is an extension project and online news lab of journalism course of Ponta Grossa State University. The iniciative is a partnership with neighborhood associations, trade unions, social movements, non-governmental organizations and another civil society organizations from Ponta Grossa City.


Why change the current brand?

The main motivation for the entity's rebranding was to create consistency in their communication with the public in their touchpoints and build an image of credibility for companies, organizations and local people.

*This project was developed as a study for the subject Visual Planning III of the BA in design at IESB - Instituto de Ensino Superior de Bauru and has not been requested by the Portal Comunitário.
Symbol inspiration

As an information and communications service made with community, the Portal Comunitário Ponta Grossa has structured its editorial line on three fundamental pillars: community communication , popular journalism and alternative journalism . To create the symbol, used elements that represents the concept of hyperlocal and the main characteristics of the Portal Comunitário.
