THE PROJECT
The concept of Seam arises from the study of the problems present on today’s cruise ships. It is developed around three key themes, such as design, openness to the sea and smart facades. The idea develops through a phase of deconstruction aimed at emphasizing the main line of the ship. This operation has radically influenced the aesthetic aspect, making it dynamic but with soft lines. It also allowed a direct connection to the sea, given by the extension of the external bridges and by the study of areas of strong emotional impact, such as the bow and the stern, thus creating a more intimate relationship with the sea itself. Outside, through a game of oled placed along the sides, the ship wakes up during the night hours, giving value to its lines in a fiery explosion of lights and colors.
