The "Old standing tower"

Quando ero bambino ero affascinato dalle costruzioni in pietra. Così ho deciso di creare un disegno su di una piccola torretta e spiegare il suo concept attraverso un racconto inserito a fine progetto/pagina.
L'intero disegno è stato realizzato in Photoshop con pennellate "grezze" ricercando tecniche tradizionali unito alla funzionalità delle tecniche digitali.
When I was a child I was always fascinated by stone buildings. So I decided to make a drawing on a small tower and explain its concept with a story written in end of the project/page.
The entire design was made in Photoshop with "raw" brushstrokes, searching for traditional techniques combined with the functionality of digital techniques.

La piccola torretta sorvegliava la città di Alisiv dai nemici, mantenendo al sicuro i suoi abitanti. Alisiv, la bellezza non mancava di certo e tantomeno la ricchezza, infatti era una meta frequente tra i viandanti.
Essi erano meravigliati dale costruzioni architettoniche eseguite con sampienza dai mastri carpentieri e orrnati da decoratori con mani sopraffine.
Ad Alisiv era piacevole trascorrere la propria vita, almeno finché non attraversò il suo periodo più buio. Purtroppo, col tempo, le sue bellezze divennero desiderio di briganti senza scrupoli, e attacchi alle mura si fecero sempre più frequenti, fino a quando un giorno venne saccheggiata e distrutta. Abbandonata dai suoi custodi e ferita dalla guerra, la torre non demorde e come ogni giorno si erge dritta a proteggere quelle che una volta erano le mura della sua città.

The small tower guarded the city of Alisiv from the enemies, keeping its inhabitants safe. Alisiv, beauty was certainly not lacking, let alone richness, in fact it was a frequent destination among wayfarers.
They were amazed by the architectural constructions executed with mastery by carpenters and decorated by decorators's hands.
It was pleasant to Alisiv to break his life, at least until he went through his darkest phase. Unfortunately, over time, its beauty became the desire of unscrupulous brigands, and attacks on the city's protective walls became more and more frequent, until one day it was sacked and destroyed. Abandoned by its keepers and wounded by the war, the tower does not give up and as every day it stands upright to control what once were the walls of its city.
