FLORA HOTEL
/ Based in Phan Ri Cua town, Binh Thuan province, Vietnam
A rare chance to approach hotel & hospitality business in such countryside area, it's was fun to be collaborated with my architect friend this time.

Flora Hotel is named in English but the original idea came from the owner's name which means a flower's name - Hoa Mơ (a branch from apricot family) - and that is a spirit to build this hotel based on traditional values from this town.
With all of that philosophy and inspiration, it was my turn to set this value through my design, so that was how all of it began.

We had a cup of coffee and talked about the project. As I mentioned above, I got the idea of her "spiritual flower" that why I started to drew this branch of flower, not sure what kind of it but I had a strong feeling to keep going with the flower.
From that I just let it developed itself, a wild flower, an impression, a classic pattern.
/Vectorize & Finalize

By selecting from the sketches, I proceeded to get the best one then tried to vectorize it into vector design.
Step by step, we worked together to get the good result out of many selections. With perfect match (to me) of brand's colors, I was probably enjoying it.
In the final result, the type and symbol came together in a way of space and spirit, the letters were symbolizes as an open space while the spiritual flower attached on the letters.
