The story. Two years ago, I worked as a housekeeper in a hotel. While cleaning the room at the end of the guests’ stay, one of the guilty pleasures of my colleagues and I was to search indiscreetly through the room and to look for any remnants that had been left behind (i.e.: invoices, notes, grocery lists, drafts of letters). Then we imagined the story of the guest's stay.
De la montagne. tells a story through a collection of printed pieces presented in a plastic pocket. This assemblage of clues and photos allows the viewer to reconstruct the scenario of the guest's stay in Room 1208.
