BisQ is a magazine directed at soup enthusiasts who enjoy trying out gourmet recipes. I set out to develop a style guide and system with a few page spreads that would create unity.  Theoretically any design team could pick up this guide and maintain the identity of the magazine.

 

My goal was to use a lot of white space to communicate a sense of class. The grid is critical in this piece to organize the content and make it easy to follow if someone were to attempt the recipe. There are different sections of the magazine that are color coded and tabbed for easy cues when interacting with it.
