Focussing on how the way in which politics is viewed is changing dramatically, particularly in the turbulent times of President Trump, ‘fake news’ and Brexit, with lies becoming more common in the news, quotes being taken out of context, and politicians becoming more like celebrities.

I gave each politician a double page spread, with the contents made entirely from quotes taken out of their original content, showing how the news can so easily twist politician’s words in an exaggerated, cartoonish way.

The illustrations are hand-drawn and then digitised, with a hand-made, hand-written font to keep the 'home-made' effect throughout.
