A project of mark-making, various mediums and techniques were used to express a series of emotions in the form of patterns on paper strips.
Bizarre: Handprints and specks of ink drawn to express the similarity of a gruesome scene.
Exhausted: Cotton twine braided and cut in the middle, frayed to show the tension and distress of being physically and mentally exhausted.
Fragile: Cracks drawn on paper, torn and burned before reassembling by collage. Burnt effect makes the paper stiff and crumbles easily.
Spontaneous: The action of taking a drying brush and marking down random strokes without hesitation.
