Hidden in Plain Sight

What does it mean to be Hidden in Plain Sight? Are we intentionally missing something? Being present and taking time to observe our surroundings benefits our individual experiences. There is no right or wrong way to look at something; humans see the world through their individual perspectives. When we look at a structure or building, we see it as so. Hidden in Plain Sight explores how we view and perceive the structures around us. Looking at a building or a steel beam head on, we notice brick, concrete, and other materials that support it. Going further, what does our mind want us to see? What shapes and details do we see that support this structure? Through the uses of angles, perspective, and and composition, Hidden in Plain Sight asks the viewer to consider these ideas even after stepping away from the photographs in this series.
