ROBOT BLAST
This project is about the development of a VR game that took over a year to be completed and fully functional. Right now the game is available to be played in a gaming center named VRMY that can be found in Estado de México at a mall named Sentura.  You can play it along a functional special VR treadmill designed for the games of VRMY as well as a functional VR shotgun named Atenea. All of this weapons designed in the studio ELMI VR

ROBOT BLAST is about an epic fight of a group of robots that want to get the most powerful source of the universe that can be found in a shiny orbe. This group of robots are willing to destroy each other to be the very best and most powerful beings.

I was in charge of making the character design of two of the four robots that took part of the history.

The first character belongs to a clan named LINX. His clan can be noticed because of his golden color.
This clan is in search of peace among their beings but not with other clans.
I designed his views along his skins that you can randomly be in the game while playing with your friends.
A full front view of the Linx and the final concepts of his weapons.
As well I worked on making renders and textures for the main skin of the robot Linx.
This second character belongs to a clan named UXOID. His clan can be noticed because of their fierceless resemblance.

This clan is in search of power to conquer the whole universe.
I designed his views along his skins that you can randomly be in the game while playing with your friends.
Here is a front view of the character along his weapons.
As well I worked on making renders and textures for the main skin of the robot UXOID.
This was the final map  I designed for Robot Blast in  a Top view in which it helps the user to know where to find the places, mainly because of their neon colors and plan their strategy with their respective clan before entering the game.
I designed the map no. 2 for Robot Blast in which along with Marlene Palafox we created a 3D model sketch for us to try it in Unity so we could measure distances and obstacles in the virtual environment.

We tested several maps. But as a team we decided this one fitted better the game and our gamers experience, since it was balanced and all the clans would have to travel the exact same distance to get to the orbe.
I was in charge in designing props and weapons that could  be found in the game such as drones, walls, canons, guns, batteries and special energy sources that could give power ups while playing.
Here I show you floor patterns, which were created to know which one could fit better in the environment of Robot Blast, they can be found in different areas of the game, mainly in the blue structure where the orbe of the game is.
I also designed skins for the helmets of the characters of Robot Blast as well as the design of the alternative weapons for each clan.
Here are some concepts made for the environment of the game.
This was the first UI designed for the user to choose their team.
Red and Yellow tokens were designed by me, while Blue and Green were designed by Marlene Palafox.
This is a Screenshot of the game display of the final UI that was chosen.

The number above the tokens means the quantity of player that have chosen to be part of that clan.
This stickers were created for giveaways to clients and schools.
Robot Blast characters in chibi versions for the publicity in social media.
I was in charge of the publicity of VRMY. Therefore, a great part of it was creating posters, photographs and illustrations.

These are some of the final compositions that were made along  Naomi Iwadare whom posed some of the 3D characters found in the images.

And here are my final compositions for VRMY.

Also I designed Facebook frames for the three games that are available, here I show you the one of Robot Blast.
These pictures were taken in the inauguration of the gaming center.

These are the faces of some people playing Robot Blast with the whole gaming equipment of VRMY.
