Moravian Republic

Have you ever wondered what Moravia would look like if it were an independent state? I do. I got this idea after a new redesign of the South Moravian Region logo was presented, which, as a resident and graphic artist, I personally dislike.

The basis of the whole visual is a red-white chessboard, which adorns the entire Moravian eagle. I simplified it to two red blocks as a flag, because the flag should be as simple and as least confusing as possible. The logo of the state is also derived from the flag, accompanied by the Czech type Nudista by Tomáš Brousil. I also simplified and stylized the Moravian Eagle itself. Here I tried to get into a simple geometric form. The entire visual is complemented by the already mentioned chessboard, which is an additional element to the identity.
