In this clip, I animated a music video to the tune of "Dark Times" by The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran using the traditional hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation technique. The programs used were Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Animate. I wanted to express my understanding of human anatomy and movement through the fluidity of a dancer, as I believe dancers encapsulate so much of the freedom that the human body is capable of. This is the first piece of animation I have done that exceeds the few seconds I had normally been used to. The process has familiarized me with an animation program which I formerly had little experience with. Using the frame-by-frame animation technique has also given me the opportunity to study the human figure in a much more in-depth way.
