Avani is a craft based NGO which is based in the Kumaon hills of North India. The most interesting aspect of this NGO is that they look at a holistic approach of development of the communities rather than just developing the craft for commercial purposes. The challenge was to highlight this approach in the brochure.
I decided to experiment with the layout to emphasize the holistic approach dealing with a variety of work. I didnt hesitate to use combinations of hand drawn illustrations, images and experiment with typography. This was a hypothetical brochure designed for Avani.
