El universo entero está formado de conexiones que se organizan, Según su capacidad, en estructuras; de manera que el conjunto de ellas y la forma en que éstas se relacionan entre sí generan un balance. Esta inspiración da lugar a nodo, una colección que se construye a partir de una red de puntos de inflexión y conexiones que generan, al mismo tiempo, su estructura y su forma.
NODO toma la esencia del mueble y la proyecta en un objeto vivo formado por fibras de vidrio interconectadas. Estas fibras no sólo le dan estructura al objeto al irse entretejiendo entre ellas, sino que permiten que el objeto se comporte como una membrana, a través de la cual genera comunicación entre el entorno y su contenido. En lugar de generar una pieza con superficies sólidas, este producto tiene una estética abierta, mostrando su contenido de manera honesta y utilizando poco material sin sacrificar resistencia estructural.
La línea NODO, caracterizada por su ligereza, está conformada hasta el momento por una credenza, mesa central, lámpara de piso y lámpara de escritorio en colores rojo, negro y amarillo. Nos encontramos trabajando en nuevas aplicaciones que exploten al máximo ésta innovadora técnica.

The entire universe is shaped from multiple connections that are arranged according to their capacity to give structure. Unison is created between each contact point to establish a common balance. From this, the inspiration for nodo was drawn: a furniture collection consisting of a network with numerous connections that generate its structure and geometry.
NODO takes the essence from the classic piece of furniture and transforms it into a dynamic object completely made out of fiberglass. The interwoven fibers were not only designed to function as a structural component but to allow the piece to behave as a membrane through which communication between the environment and its context is encouraged. Instead of a solid surface piece, this product has an open aesthetic, displaying its content in an honest manner while using little material and maintaining high structural resistance.
Thus far, the nodo collection consists of a console, a coffee table, a floor and a desk lamp in red, black and yellow colors. We are currently working on new applications exploring this innovative technique.
The NODO collection was presented at Design Week Mexico 2012, won an honorable mention in the prestigious DiMueble Furniture Competition and will be exhibited in New York at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in May 2013.
