Since December 2014, Archie Rose have been distilling, fine tuning and resting their whiskies, patiently waiting for them to reach optimal maturity.
Our task was to design whisky packaging that is a true expression of uncompromising quality and timeless design. It is not only an impressive showpiece but a reflection of Archie Rose’s position as Australia’s most highly awarded distillery. The devil really is in the detail – A restrained design approach is magnified by impeccable production.
From August 1st, Archie Rose will release batch one of its Rye Malt Whisky – the first of its highly anticipated core range whiskies. For the whisky enthusiasts out there, you’re in for a treat! The earlier cask samples of Archie Rose Rye Malt Whisky have already been awarded Best Australian Whisky at the IWSC Awards in London 2018 and Best Australian Rye Whisky at the 2019 Spirits International Prestige Awards in California.

Rye Malt Whisky box with its custom hexagonal form and bottle reveal. We wanted to challenge whisky packaging conventions with the use of white. It acts as a striking beacon, cutting through the shelf clutter. It’s all about the lead up to the final reveal, with the front face opening up to showcase the golden goodness inside.
