Landscapes / glitch

This project was developed as part of the glitch course. The inspiration for this work is the romantic landscape paintings of the 19th century. Using pixel sorting, I tried to achieve a romantic feeling of this type of paintings with a touch of abstraction. Pixel sorting is a visual effect created by using the rows, columns, or other set of pixels in the image and ordering them according to some of the pixels. All source images are my own photos of landscape views.

Technical – pixel sorting via terminal / script
