Cincotti's Storytelling
Edoardo Cincotti was born in New York. His parents emigrated from Italy in the USA in the 60’s.
At the young age he started designing fashion belts and accessories, getting inspiration by the Italian style.
Cincotti made his dream come true in the fashion industry and in few years he succeed as a fashion designer in NY, making good quality belts with the most selected leather.
He often was used to travel to Italy and spend his time in Puglia ( his mother’s home Country ) discovering his roots. Being impressed by the beauty of South of Italy, he decided to leave America, running his own business in Puglia. He now lives and designs male and female fashion belts.
Although his job is to design fashion belts, I thought to take in consideration a piece of his making to represent the initial of his first name which is also the brand name.
Logotype Philosophy
Using different geometric shapes like circles and rectangles, I have made a stylized belt and buckle, in order to create an elegant texture and I chose the black and grey colours to underline the elegance of the fashion making.
