Mort is a peculiar man, he hides out in his tiny apartment in a ginormous city. His favourite food is marmite and his favourite show on TV is the static channel. People in general terrify and puzzle him and so he will avoid social situations and human contact. He prefers befriending small dead animals, he finds them much more patient and agreeable.
He cleans his window religiously in hope of killing a new bird friend for himself, he believes that he can give them more love dead than they ever would have recieved alive. He is very generous to his deceased friends, he always makes sure to feed them first and then he will gobble up all the leftovers.
If it wasn't for the inevitable need to go to the shop for marmite and window cleaner he would never leave his apartment. In the case of having to venture out into the big city full of loud noises and busy people he will take with him his outdoor box, which he will place over his head in the event of getting over-whelmed.
Mort means well but is often misunderstood as being a freak on account of his pedo-esque looks and odd behaviour.
