Lviv Hotel “Ferenc” is located in the former printing house building, on the narrowest street of the city, named after the famous composer and pianist — Ferenc Liszt. In 2018, with the help of some of the best Ukrainian designers, the building was reconstructed into a hotel with 35 rooms, each with a distinctive individual design and all necessary amenities for both work and leisure. In addition to comfortable rooms the hotel offers services of its beer restaurant, also called “Ferenc”. This is a real treat for anyone who appreciates the combination of great style, excellent service and exquisite cuisine.

Our task was to develop a simple and up-to-date logo, that’s easily associated with a musical theme and reveals the hotel’s and restaurant’s rich history, while taking into account the already existing architectural solution. The hotel and restaurant corporate styles had to embody the elegance and comfort that set them apart from competition.

Out of the various options proposed by us, the client chose a logo with the letter “F”, formed by black keys harmoniously placed between white piano keys. This is a simple yet elegant logo consisting of a sign and a signature, which can be used both together and individually, depending on the case, and the medium it is used for. The corporate style uses black and white as the dominant colors with possible use of additional muted colors.
