Make pipil great again

Sustainability/viable project: Make pipil great again.Ā
HEY THANKS FOR READING THIS
Really, thank you. I know reading about a strangers life/inspiration/ project is boring and tedious, I mean I wouldnā€™t do it, so kudos to you. First of all this project is a somewhat of a first base material for my upcoming thesis project, I wanted to use this experience to really understand what I was getting myself into, experiment with the ma- terials, shapes and techniques, yet make everything in a sustainable way.
Exploring the sustainable side of fashion just makes a lot more sense, we can make beautiful things and still contribute to our planet in so many ways, or not risk our future to say the least.
This project is intended to be socio-political, itā€™s meant to talk about immigration and past events that led to the eradication of an entire culture.
With everything that is happening in our time, I feel like it is correct and necessary to remember these events that as humans we always vow to never repeat. Unfortunately we are systematical and cycli- cal species, we forget or maybe even ignore how our actions always seem to affect in a great scale our planet and everything/everyone in it.
There are so many pending issues that we must solve to protect our planet and every being in it, fashion plays a big part in these issues so it is only fair that a social art project would be sustainable right? So without further ado, I present to you the first step in what I hope is a project that will create awareness to the future of sustainability in fashion and awareness to the issues concerning immigration,
I mean after all
I AM A FREAKING IMMIGRANT.
