Ugly Baby Daycare was created with the main focus on separating the spaces for kids and adults. Bigger part of the space is designed the way that only 4-5 year old kids could  t there comfortably and play/read/sleep without interruption from the adult world. Other idea was to create flexible zones with minimalist approach so kids can read wherever they want in the space and play however they want.

The name of this daycare was inspired by the painting of Marcelle Roulin by Vincent Van Gogh, 1888.
