Domestic Books is a personal project, presented at the Art White Night (Bologna, 2018) in The Workout Grid exhibition.
Domestic books explores my personal identity, as an experience that most people in my own social class probably have in common. The domestic books are three and they are object-books, to reimagine the very concept of published book, and correspond to the various aspects of my identity at the time of the creation of the project: a young woman, an off-site student, with an intense and turbulent relationship with my emotions and with food. Respectively, the books are named: "like your mother before you, like her mother before her" (the spool), "bottled up emotions"(the bottle) and "cravings" (the tin box).
The A3 format book finally collects and describes the experience of the project and was left available to the public alongside the objects during the exhibition.
