The samples where created on an experimental wool warp set up as part of the course Fabric Structure II. The challenge was to create textured or 2.5 D samples with wool as a major material. The warp set up had 85% wool and 25% polyester with a drafting for quilt structure.

Front and back view of a  2.5D weave sample created with out any wading on the same loom. The sample was flat on the loom, but the high twist cotton used as weft in the base cloth shrunk after washing. This resulted the wool in the front cloth to rise, wherever it is not bounded to the back cloth.
