Typeface Esteem
The typeface Esteem is a display font. The best thing about this font is the slenderness of the columns and the graphic elements in-between the columns. And this is a typeface inspired by women's high heels, especially Lady Gaga’s. I wanted to show the overall images of strong female in the font. In order to show the sharp feeling of high heels, the columns of the font were made thin and slender.
When it comes to the numbers, if it goes with a same width of the alphabet, they’re kind of looked like to dumb, because it’s takes up too much negative space. Therefore, the width of the figure went width 85% of the alphabet width. Since the starting point of the stroke or the base column is located on the right side in numerals, the numbers are started from a column of the right side to the left, and titled.
