토지오염이란 다른 수질,대기,산림 환경오염들에 비해 굉장히 직관성이 낮은 오염입니다. 특별한 검출방법이 아닌 이상 오염진행의 80%가 진행되어야 알아차릴 수 있습니다. 특히 국토의 산지 면적이 큰 한국의 경우 토양오염의 전염성은 굉장히 치명적입니다. 사람들에게 오염의 심각성과 직관성을 주고자 이 캠페인을 진행하게 되었습니다. 인포그래픽 패키지의 구성품으로는 한국의 토지오염을 설명하고 7개의 지역별 오염그래픽이 들어있는 책과 7개의 정보를 통합한 대한민국 토지오염 인포그래픽 포스터입니다.
Soil pollution is characterized by its difficulty in detection, compared to other types of pollution such other pollution. It can only be visually detected after the progress of pollution reaches 80 percent. For a country Korea that mountain and forests consist most of its land area, soil pollution can be extremely contagious, which aggravates the problem by far. We have started the campaign to bring about sharp awareness of the severity of pollution to the public The booklet examines the soil pollution in Korea and analyzes regional soil pollution for 7 Provinces of Korea through graphs. The infographic poster visually summarizes the soil pollution in Korea.

토양오염의 그래픽 수치화를 위해 다양한 기관에서 발췌한 정보들을 종합하였고, 한국의 대표적인 7개의 강(한강,금강,낙동강,영산강,대구유역,새만금유역,원주유역) 주변에 위치한 환경청들을 비교하였습니다. 기준으로 5개의 오염원인(영농,수질,대기,폐기,생활)고 13개의 사용목적(답,과수,임야,전,공장,하천,철도,도로,목장,잡종지,주거,여가,유원지)과 12개의 검출된 화학물질(pH,TPH,CN,F,Ni,Zn,Cr,Pb,Hg,As,Cu,Cd)의 평균,최소,최대값을 하나의 그래픽으로 정리하고 기존의 흙과는 반대되는 컬러를 사용하여 특별한 토지오염 인포그래픽을 만들었습니다.
It was challenging to collect data on soil pollution of Korea. We have summarized data from various organizations and compared them with data from the Ministries of Environment that are located near Korea’s major 7 rivers. To draw visually dramatic effect, we have used bright colors specifically opposite to colors of soil in the infographics. The infographics includes mean, minimum, and maximum value of the 3 focuses of examination: reasons for pollution, fields of soil usage that promoted soil pollution, and 12 chemical pollutant.
