Marist College's NEACURH Roll Call (2018)

Twice a year, regional conferences are held to bring together college students, particularly Resident Assistants or students active in Residential Life at their institutions, from universities across the region to network and host programs designed to teach students valuable social, emotional, mental, and professional lessons through fun and engaging activities. Each conference carries out a theme that should be implemented in the college's roll call to the apparel worn by the participants. Can you guess the theme for this season's conference?

Technology is constantly evolving and The Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria utilizes technology to enhance learning and create using new technical tools that provide them the opportunity to be innovative leaders.

This video was intended to gauge the knowledge The Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria students and faculty had in properly disposing their recycled materials and trash. Tech Crew desired to address this issue by creating a video game designed to teach then practice the rights and wrongs when recycling. We then had students and teachers rotate in playing the game.

The Hour of Code (2013)

For an hour one morning, all students at The Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria learned to code through playing a video game with the objective of reducing the gender gap in computer programming encouraging girls to be curious about code and consider pursuing computer science in college.
