Brain Rumble emerges from a compilation of ideas from other 3 well-known games: Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit and Ludo. From Monopoly comes the conquest, from Trivial Pursuit comes the different category questions, and at last from Ludo comes the battle between players. All these three key ideas promote the dynamism and intensity of the entire game game.
The game has 5 categories: geography, science, history, entertainment and art. These 5 create a friendly battle between players as they struggle to find the one with most knowledge (and luck). There's also surprise cards, called Rumble Cards, that dictate each player's luck and are able to turn the game and change the position of the players. Each player has 4 playing pawns that should be put in game each at its own time according to that player's luck. All 4 pawns have to reach the end of the game in order to give victory to the player. The board has an hexagonal shape and, as it folds in half, it fits on the package along with the cards, pawns and instructions manual.
