I was commissioned to create a new visitor map for the Fairmont Royal Pavilion resort in Barbados. Looking north-east across the resort from the direction of the sea, the brief required that the reception area, apartment blocks, villa residence, restaurants and amenities were all clearly shown in a crisp, colourful axonometric style similar to my Butlins and Buckfast Abbey map designs. The design was based on photographs provided by the client, taken from ground level and from the air by drones.
