Computing Honours project

My computing honours research involved understanding what Agile software development could offer to software development projects. In particular, I wanted to understand what the issues of using Agile principles to develop a project successfully were. My research topic was named:

"Issues of Agile software development when creating a HTML5 game for the Galaxy tab 2 7.0."

The project was completed during 24 weeks. The Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, DSDM and FDD were used to create the software.

'Could a single person development team (me) use Agile to create quality working software for the customer ?'

I organised the project to adhere to the Agile manifesto:

"Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on
the right, we value the items on the left more.
"

I was the designer, the artist, the animator, the project manager, the programmer and the sound engineer. The project requirements changed frequently during the development and the flexibility of Agile values aided the successful completion of the project.
