Peace City Summer School 2019
As part of the yearly "FriedensFest", Festival of Peace, in Augsburg Germany, Peace city summer school is an event taking place in August 2019 in Annahof, at the old center of Augsburg.
Organized by ASKA, Alumni and Students of Conflicts' Research at the University of Augsburg, PCSS provides open discussions and seminars about various topics, such as; Freedom of thought in the age of technology, sustainability between freedom and responsibility, and other current socially urgent themes.
This year's slogan; "wirklich frei sein" or, be really free, inspired us to work with elements, which are really free. A feather, in this context, symbolises freedom. It flies over barriers and borders. It also resembles the intellectuality of the event.
