Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's Career Center

Human Resources Career Center,
Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland
The Content Flows, Wireframes and Low- and High Fidelity Comps seen below were produced for the redesign of the Human Resources Career Center page on the Cleveland Fed web page. These assets were developed in an iterative process and delivered on June 7, 2019. Our production team is presently in Sprint One of development. The target launch for the site is in August.
Flows, Wireframes and Navigation:
Content Flows: The content flows were developed as an information architecture and content map related to links,
navigation and functionality. At this stage of design, the images and assets are not included and the focus is completely
on layout, function and user interaction.

Levels and Navigation: Once the flows were completed, the next step was defining the common layout and grid structure for the different levels in the site and the navigation to access the levels. In the case of the Career Center, it was defined by the content that there would be three levels. Since one major redesign requirement was to develop a mobile experience, we opted to use a drop down, collapsible navigation panel to keep user interaction consistent across the site.
Wireframes: Wireframes were developed to demonstrate how the pages would respond on mobile and desktop devices.
At each "breaking point" the content shifts to fit the format for the specific device. Our goal was to provide the most consistent user experience throughout the site.
Low- and High Fidelity Design Comps:
Once the content, layout and functionality of the page was determined, it was time
to shift full attention to the design of the page to engage users, and the assets that will enhance the user experience.
Level One - Home Page: The home page contains a large "hero" image which is planned to be transitioned to a video in later iterations. The page also contains four "cards" that link to the four second level pages. Additionally, there is an employee "testimonial" section that highlights employee quotes that coincide with the Human Resources Recruiting Cards campaign.
Level Two Pages - Our Culture, Our Benefits, Our Work and Our Hiring Process: These pages take a deeper dive into the culture, benefits and work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and the hiring process to apply, interview and on-board
at the Bank.
Level Three Pages: There are only three pages at this level, Resource Network Groups, employee stories and information
about internships.
Level 2 - Photo Gallery: This comp details the user experience and functionality of the photo gallery on the Our Culture page.
Style Comp: This design brief is provided as a quick reference for building and styling the pages and to maintain consistency of brand across the site.
Development Sprints: Our production team has just completed the first week of Sprint 1. The Sprints are planned as eight, 2 week agile sprints that culminate at launch. As the lead web designer, it is my responsibility to remain at least one sprint ahead designing and developing graphic and photographic assets for the build of the pages and collaborating on branding and styling of the pages.
