«Санаторий — место, где останавливается время. Отдыхающему не нужно ни о чем думать, для всего есть расписание, тело с удовольствием расслабляется, но ум к такому не привык и начинает беспокоиться. Что за причудливая смесь воспоминаний, надежд и скрытых тревог привидится ему в этой пустоте? Даст ли уснуть электрический гул тишины? Что за образы, сложенные из увиденного за день в санатории, отразятся на периферии зрения и удастся ли их наконец рассмотреть?»
Серия портретов Санаторий создана для одноимённой коллективной выставки арт-группы «Где мои вещи». Экспонировалась в Первой научно-популярной библиотеке (февраль-март 2019) и на Артплэе (зал Лаборатория, май 2019).
Все три работы выполнены в смешанной технике, которая включает в себя коллаж и живопись темперой. Холст на подрамнике, 146х142 см, 2018—2019 гг. Работы можно приобрести.
Sanatorium is a place where time stops. The vacationer does not need to think about anything, there is a schedule for everything, the body relaxes with pleasure, but the mind is not used to all this and starts to worry. What kind of bizarre mix of memories, hopes and hidden anxieties will it behold in this void of calm? Will the electric hum of silence let him rest? What kind of images stacked with what he saw during the day in the sanatorium will touch the edge of sight and shall one finally be able to see them?
The Sanatorium series of portraits were created for the collective exhibition named Sanatorium accordingly by the art group Gde(moi veschee) (Where are my things). It was exhibited at the First Popular Science Library (Moscow, February—March 2019) and at Artplay (Laboratory Hall, Moscow, May 2019).
All three works are in mixed technique, which includes collage and tempera painting. Canvas on the subframe, 146x142 cm, 2018—2019.
